 MANAGEMENT OF CHALLENGING BEHAVIOURS
 This course is designed for staff working in Aged Care and provides basic prevention strategies, psychological and physical manoeuvres for de-escalating and avoiding potentially challenging behaviours.
 Duration: 1 day  CONTROL AND RESTRAINT TRAINING
 This is course designed for staff who already have high-level skills in de-escalating and prevention techniques in the management of aggression but require the specialised physical restraint skills.
 Duration: 2 days  TRAIN THE TRAINER
 This is course designed for facilities that would like to have a select group of staff trained to provide instruction in safe control and restraint. The training is conducted on-site and will provide staff with the knowledge / skills to instruct other staff in the prevention and management of aggressive behaviours.
 Duration: 5 days  TRAIN THE TRAINER -  REFRESHER COURSE
 In the interest quality assurance and best practice, C.A.R.E. Consultants highly recommend that Trainers undertake an annual refresher course to maintain competency in teaching control and restraint.
 An annual refresher course demonstrates to relevant Accreditation Bodies that annual competency and evaluation processes are in place and contribute to maintaining contemporary practice in Control and Restraint Training.
